ダーレン・ラヴ、ジミー・ファロン司会の米人気番組で披露した2曲のクリスマス・ソングの映像が公開

Darlene Love（ダーレン・ラヴ）がジミー・ファロン司会の米人気番組『The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon』に出演。

10年ぶりに深夜番組に復帰した昨年に続き、Little Steven（リトル・スティーブン）率いるThe Disciples of Soul（ザ・ディサイプルズ・オブ・ソウル）と共に、特別ゲストとしてPaul Shaffer（ポール・シェイファー）も参加し、代表的なクリスマス・ソング「Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)」に加え、映画『ホーム・アローン2』の挿入曲として知られる「All Alone on Christmas」を披露した際の映像が公開となった。

1963年にリリースされた「Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)」はPhil Spector（フィル・スペクター）がプロデュースした名曲で、これまで多くのアーティストによってカバーされている。当時、商業的な成果は得られなかったが、2014年に米ビルボードのホリデーチャートに初めてランクインした。2018年にビルボードホット100に初エントリーを果たし、以降毎年ランクイン。現在までに最高で15位をマークしている。フィル・スペクターのクリスマス・アルバム『A Christmas Gift for You from Phil Spector』のために書かれ、Cher（シェール）がバックボーカルとして参加していた。シェールは2023年にダーレン・ラヴを迎えたカバーをリリースしている。
