ジョージ・ハリスン、フィン・ウルフハードが監督を務めた「Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth)」のミュージック・ビデオが公開

George Harrison（ジョージ・ハリスン）の昨年リリースされた『Living In The Material World』50周年記念盤から「Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth)」のミュージック・ビデオが公開となった。

Netflixドラマ『ストレンジャー・シングス』で知られる俳優・ミュージシャンのFinn Wolfhard（フィン・ウルフハード）が監督を務めたミュージック・ビデオは、アニメーション形式で映像を演出し、カナダのストップモーション・アーティスト約20人とともに制作が進められた。映像は、ハリスンが所有していた英国オックスフォードシャーの邸宅フライヤー・パークで庭仕事をする姿をモチーフにするなど、楽曲の世界観とハリスンの人柄を繊細に描写している。

「Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth)」は1973年、アルバムからのからの先行シングルとして発売され、米ビルボードホット100で1位を獲得した。『Living In The Material World (50th Anniversary)』は発売50周年を記念して昨年リリース。ダーニ＆オリヴィア・ハリスン監修、ポール・ヒックスによる驚異的なニュー・ミックスは、アルバムのサウンドをさらにグレードアップさせ、かつてないほど明るく、豊かで、ダイナミックなサウンドを実現している。
